Accommodations

The Wedding Party will be staying at the Asticou Inn Friday and Saturday night (Sept 14th and 15th). We have reserved the entire 2nd floor for those 2 nights which is about 20 rooms. If you are interested in staying where we are those nights then book your room soon because they'll probably disapear fast! We will be staying in Bar Harbor the week following the wedding.

The Asticou Inn is located in North East Harbor. The town of Bar Harbor is approximately 20 minutes from North East Harbor and Bar Harbor offers a greater selection of places to stay as well as more affordable rates. Another good option is the town of Ellsworth which is approximately 1 hour drive from the Asticou Inn. In addition to reserving rooms at the Asticou we have also reserved rooms at the hotels listed below.

Currently we have made arrangements with 2 hotels, the Asticou Inn in Northeast Harbor and the Atlantic Erie Lodge in Bar Harbor. If we are able to negotiate any more special rates we will post them up on this page. Aside from these 2 there are MANY more hotels and B&B's on Desert Island. I've listed those 2 as well as the others. In general their prices range from $130-$370 per night.
Northeast Harbor: The Asticou Inn: Room prices range from $170-$220. This is where the wedding and reception will be. We have the 2nd floor reserved. When you contact the Asticou just tell them you are a attending the Cough/Belfoure wedding. There are other rooms and room configurations available for those with children so just tell them what you need as they have been very accommodating to all our requests so far!
Bar Harbor: The Atlantic Erie Lodge: We have reserved rooms here as well and they are offering us a special rate for wedding guests. Rooms are $97.30 per night for the first and second floor and $112.67 for the 3rd and 4th floor. When reserving your room just tell them you are part of the Emily Cough wedding to get this rate. The Atlantic Oakes: Located in Bar Harbor with rooms ranging from $149-$329 per night Days In: Located in Bar Harbor and rooms are $155 per night.
